Verdict. Join if you already earn Amazon commissions and post product reviews. Creator Connections adds a brand-funded bonus of at least 10% to sales you would drive anyway, Amazon pays it, and no brand can kick you out. It is not a sponsorship marketplace. There is no flat fee for content, only commission on sales within 24 hours of a click, and payment lands two months later.

What brands pay. Pay for performance. Set a bonus commission of at least 10% and a campaign budget of at least $5,000, running 30 to 365 days. You are billed only for qualifying sales, every 30 days through the Amazon Ads console, with no service fees. Unspent budget, including part of the $5,000 minimum, is not charged.

What creators keep. Amazon takes nothing from the bonus. You keep 100% of the brand's bonus plus your standard Amazon commission of 0% to 10% by category.

Amazon Creator Connections pros and cons

What we like

  • The bonus stacks on your normal rate, so a 10% bonus on a 3% category pays 13%.
  • Brands cannot reject you or remove you once you join a campaign.
  • No pitching or negotiating. You opt in and promote.
  • Amazon pays you, so you never chase a brand for an invoice.

What gets in the way

  • Pure performance pay. A great video that sells nothing earns nothing.
  • Sales only count within 24 hours of a shopper clicking your link.
  • Money arrives about 60 days after the month ends.
  • Campaigns fill first come, first served, capped at 800 creators.
