Verdict. Pick GRIN if you run gifting and affiliate programs from a Shopify store and want to own your creator list. Starter at $200 a month plus a 10% deposit fee is a fair entry point, and creators pay nothing. The catch is the fee on money you move. On Free, every $1,000 you deposit costs $200 extra, and fees are not refunded on withdrawn funds.

GRIN pros and cons
What we like
- Published prices and month-to-month plans, unlike GRIN's old demo-only sales.
- GRIN says it takes nothing from creator earnings.
- Starter and up let you export creator lists and contact emails.
- The 5% fee on Scale is low for brands funding $50,000+ a month.
What gets in the way
- The 20% fee on the Free plan makes it a costly way to pay creators.
- The management fee is not refunded if you withdraw unspent wallet funds.
- No annual discount yet on self-serve plans.
- Creator payout timing is not documented publicly.
Who should skip GRIN
If you only need a few paid posts or UGC videos, Collabstr or Billo will cost less.

GRIN questions
How much does GRIN cost?
GRIN now publishes prices. Free costs $0, Starter $200 a month, Growth $500 and Scale $1,500, all month to month. Each plan adds a management fee on money you deposit to pay creators, 20% on Free, 10% on Starter, 7% on Growth and 5% on Scale. Enterprise is custom and annual.
Does GRIN charge creators?
No. GRIN's pricing page says it takes nothing from what creators earn, and its creator terms say it does not currently charge creators a service fee. Joining is free with no follower minimum. Brands pay GRIN through subscriptions and the management fee on wallet deposits.
How does the GRIN management fee work?
The fee is added on top when you fund your wallet. On Starter, a $1,000 deposit puts $1,000 in your wallet and costs a $100 fee. It is not refunded if you later withdraw unspent money. Card deposits may also carry a processing fee, so ACH is cheaper.
Does GRIN have a free trial?
Yes. Starter comes with a 30-day free trial, then bills $200 a month unless you switch. Deposits during the trial still carry the 10% fee. You can also stay on the Free plan, which allows 2 live campaigns and 10 gifts in total.
